Many entrepreneurs enter business with profit as their primary motivation. Platinum Mortgage was founded with a different vision. Rather than focusing on potential revenue, founder Ryan Gubler established Platinum Mortgage with the goal of providing borrowers with more affordable loan options—both in rates and fees—paired with clear, consistent communication.

Platinum Mortgage was founded in 2011, during a period of constant change within the mortgage industry. At that time, it had become increasingly difficult for loan officers to serve borrowers fairly while operating under rigid pricing structures and rate mandates. Platinum Mortgage was created to remove those barriers—allowing loan officers to focus on the best interests of their clients and enabling borrowers to access fair, transparent, and competitive rates without unseen influences determining their options.
